experience as a mechanic or in the service business.
He and his wife, Terri, enjoy riding their 2005

Beast of the East Custom Bike Winner |
|
|
|
Seven days after challenging her friends if they were
real bikers or not, Josie Daigle was rewarded for her
exuberant motorcycle spirit. The 40-year-old
Abingdon, Md., resident was at Iron Core Custom
Motorcycles, reluctantly on four wheels dragging a
trailer, to pick up her new ride.
Daigle had won her
choice of one of the two custom motorcycles
specifically
designed by Iron Core just for the Beast of the East
Custom Bike Show held in Salisbury, Md., April 21-22.
Daigle picked the red-striped, ape-hanger bobber.
The other clean, muscular white model now sits for
sale in the Iron Core showroom.
Daigle had insisted that her group ride 138 miles in
the rain to the Beast of the East. A chance for
winning the Iron Core Custom Motorcycle was part of
the $5 admission. The show featured more than 20
professional builders, a ride-in bike show, two charity
rides and even custom car and stunt shows.
Jolly Roger Customs’ Cyclone bike took the Beast of
the East Custom Bike Show top prize
of $10,000. Taking the second prize of $3,000 was
Star Custom Creations while third place and $2,000
went to Design Worx. The People’s Choice award
went to an extremely clean, white beauty from Cycle
Creations. All five builders will be at Delmarva Bike
Week®, Sept. 14-17 at Ocean Downs Racetrack
outside of Ocean City, Md.
