This Year, We Ride...

Delmarva Bike Week® is fast approaching. The "pin-up" style of the official event t-shirt is already available at H-D of Ocean City, and more styles and colors will be available during the event from ASAP Screenprinters. They will be set up at H-D of Ocean City and Seaford, Winter Place Park and Sunset Avenue.

Also during the event you can sign up for the Cruzin the Coast Run at H-D of Ocean City or Winter Place Park. This is self paced and runs the duration of the event. For the $20 entrance fee you receive a very unique official bandana and t-shirt. Return your booklet to Winter Place Park with 7 of the 9 locations stamped and you are entered in the jackpot drawing. Portion of the proceeds benefits the Spuck and Lib Bennett Scholarship Fund.

The sixth annual Mister Whippy Ice Cream Run sponsored by the Red Knights will be leaving from H-D of Ocean City at 1pm on Friday, September 12th. It will take you down the scenic backroads of Worcester County to the beautiful island of Chincoteaque, Virginia. You can register at H-D of Ocean City starting on Thursday, the 11th.

The Heritage Softail Classic gets it's first significant visual upgrade and subtle rider and passenger improvements for 2009. Half round rider footboards, 1" taller classic touring handlebars, wider, more comfortable passenger seat and recontoured passenger backrest add to the riding pleasure. Saturday, September 27, we're kicking off our final show of the Free Summer Concert Series. The concert runs from 6 to 8pm at HDOC and is sponsored by BIG Classic Rock 98.5, WMDT TV-47, and Pool Tech Hot Tubs.

Our final featured band is Never Never. From Zepplin to Van Halen, Never Never takes great rock music from the 60s thru the 90s and turns it into artistic genius. You don't wanna miss this!

The second annual Pink Ribbon Poker Run is on Sunday, September 28, starting from Harley-Davidson of Ocean City. 10:30am registration and start time (last bike out by 12 noon). Tour the area with last stop at Solstice in Berlin. Seven-Card Stud, prizes and raffle. $20 to enter (includes an event pin), $7 per extra hand or $25 grand slam for 2 hands, pin, door prize ticket and 50/50 ticket.
